I seriously live for the days Nathan has off work, especially holidays and vacation! Monday was perfect and my husband new I needed out so he took me and Kamden out for the day. I've wanted to go to Amish country in Lancaster, PA and we've wanted to go to Hershey, PA for awhile too! Monday was our day!
We first stopped in Lancaster and then went on to Hershey, PA. I would have liked to go onto the Amish property but it didn't work out on Monday. However, we went on to Hershey after stopping for pizza and loved every minute of it!
We obviously have to go back because we want to go to Hershey Park and Chocolate World but I think might take a whole weekend long! For now, we just drove around the cute town and stopped at The Hershey Museum but that was pretty great too. While there we got to see a lot of the machinery, that they even run for you at times, and learn a lot about Hershey's history! After we saw the museum we stopped in their Cafe and did a Chocolate Tasting of different strengths from around the world. Wow, some of those were strong! I loved the most mild one but Nathan really liked some of the stronger ones too.
Of course, we took the camera for the day but I forgot the SD card in the computer so all we got was this blurry little picture from my phone!
I love spending time with my little family! They are the greatest; just what I needed in life and more!
